Today was designated WORLD BOOK DAY. Perhaps it is time to read a travel book; or a book on other customs, places to prepare yourself for the upcoming RACE Exhibition at the Library. Or just return to one of your favourites and reread a classic, a romance, a western, a new arrival – any book! A good book is the best of friends, the same today and forever (Martin Tupper). Or ‘it is easy to buy a book; what is more difficult is to purchase the time in which to read them. Too often the mere fact of possession temps us to think we own the contents.'(Arthur Schopenhauer) Celebrate our rich literary heritage.

Remember booklovers never go to bed alone.

And as we all anticipate the release of the movie Alice in Wonderland (get your copies of the book in the Bookstore now!) : What is the use of a book, thought Alice, without pictures or conversations? (Lewis Carroll)
