The Friends of the Rochester Public Library is a non-profit entity organized for the purpose of supporting the Rochester Public Library and its programs. On this blog, we will present information about upcoming events at the library; together with book reviews and recommendations, and other interesting literary tidbits.
The Friends’ Bookstore, located near the entrance to the library and to the right of the main doors, is operated by the Friends of the Library and is entirely staffed by volunteers and stocked by the generous donations of books from the community. All proceeds from the Friends’ Library go to benefit library programs including Rochester Reads events and Visiting Author presentations.
